Retirement is a big stage in life. However, it is estimated that about 75% of Vietnamese workers are not financially prepared for their retirement period. Increasingly, many people do not have children to financially depend on while their health and their ability to work for a living decline and their cost of living increases due to health issues. For a peaceful and happy retirement life, plan ahead with SSIAM's voluntary retirement fund.

A voluntary pension fund is a type of investment that enterprises can contribute to on behalf of their employees. Employees can also volunteer additional contributions to the program with the enterprise. The purpose of the retirement program is to create a tool for employees to invest and accumulate assets as an additional source of income for retirement (in addition to the pension paid by Social Insurance).

The interests of fund participants will be protected by transparent mechanism and the management/supervision of multiple parties, including fund management companies, supervisory banks and state authority agencies.

Most businesses have paid attention to and met the first, second and third desires of their employees through salary and bonus mechanisms, learning opportunities and challenges at work, health insurance and life insurance policies for employees and families, etc. However, many businesses are still looking for a suitable solution to meet the ultimate desire of employees - a comfortable life in retirement.

SSIAM's voluntary retirement fund is an effective solution for both businesses and employees

Enterprises can contact SSIAM for advice on designing retirement benefits for employees and the process of contributing to the fund.

Account value will be much higher if the employee accumulates for 35 years instead of 25 years.

*The outstanding effect of compounding interest: when the investment brings a profit, that profit continues to be reinvested. The more profits accumulated, the higher the profits in the following periods will be.
According to the forecasting table, when the cumulative investment in 25 years can reach the asset level of more than 7.8 billion VND, but if the investment period lasts 35 years, the accumulated assets can reach more than 17 billion VND. Therefore, the earlier the investment, the longer the investment period, the more impressive the investment results can be.
In the 36th year, when employees reach the retirement age of 60, they will begin to receive payments from this pension fund, the annual payment rate is more than 1.7 billion VND at the time of the 36th year. If the monthly pension received is calculated with current time reference assuming an annual inflation rate of 5% in 35 contributions, it will be equivalent to VND 25,855,222/month.

Note: The above profit illustration is for reference only, actual profits will depend on the investment activities of the fund in each period.
