After 25 years of development, the Vietnamese stock market is one of the most dynamic markets in Southeast Asia. With a market capitalization of about 70% of the country's GDP, or equivalent to over 300 billion USD, 1,800 listed companies, and nearly 8 million trading accounts, it is an important channel for capital mobilization for the economy. Thanks to the stock market, many businesses have expanded their production and business activities. Upgrading Vietnam's stock market from a frontier market to an emerging market in 2025 is one of the important goals.
