Investment Objective
The investment objective of DAIWA SSIAM Fund IV is to provide Limited Partners (LPs) with opportunities for attractive long-term capital appreciation through investments in equity or equity-equivalent assets.
The Fund implements an investment strategy targeting sectors such as retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) and discretionary consumption, export-oriented industries, healthcare, education, logistics and infrastructure, as well as enabling technologies supporting traditional sectors.
The Fund’s investment strategy focuses on acquiring influential minority stakes, typically between 10% and 30%, along with Board representation rights to drive value creation and support portfolio companies post-investment.
The Fund targets a gross expected return of approximately 25% IRR

- Target fund size: approximately USD 100 million, with a maximum of USD 150 million
- Fund life: 8 years from first close, with two optional 1-year extensions
- Investment period: 4 years from first close
- Expected number of investments: 8–10 transactions, each ranging from USD 5–10 million
