At Future Fest 2026, an experiential and future-oriented event for Vietnam’s young generation, Mrs. To Thuy Linh, Deputy CEO of SSI Asset Management Company (SSIAM), shared her personal investment story with the topic “You Don’t Need a Lot of Money to Start Investing.”
Mrs. Linh shared that she is both part of SSIAM and a client of the company, as she regularly invests in fund certificates to build passive income.
“I am hardworking, but at the same time, I am also very lazy,” she said, referring to a long-term, disciplined investment approach that does not require watching the market every day.
Her message to young people was simple: young investors are “rich” in time and opportunities. By starting early, staying consistent, and being “lazy” in the right way, they can make the most of compound interest over time.
She also emphasized that investing does not require a large amount of capital. With just VND 10,000, roughly the price of a bus ticket, young people can begin their investment journey.
The session at Future Fest helped spread a sustainable financial mindset and encouraged young people to build their future from small, consistent, and long-term steps.
