22/1/2008 - There was the conference discussing about the enhance solutions for the currently Vietnamese stock market at Hanoi Securities Commissions. At this meeting, Ms. Dang Thi Hong Phuong has given an valuable speech.
At this meeting, there were the speeches from some members in the market. Below, we will briefly summary some interviews of Ms. Dang Thi Hong Phuong, CEO of SSIAM.
 
Ms. Phuong has commented that when the stock market is fluctuated like now, the investment fund can help to prevent the bad influence. The asset management company can help to re-arrange the stable demand and supply for the market when Ministry of Finance and State Securities Commissions allow the asset management companies to verify the products, in order to attract more private investors. It is better if we can adjust the income tax for the private and corporate investors. We should not restrict the government corporations to join in the fund, as well as encourage the foreigner investors to invest by not restrict the number of members can join in the fund.

Ms. Phuong has promoted a new, long- term solution for the stable development of stock market, including stock and bond. According to Ms. Phuong, the current investors have concentrated too much on stock market, while they didn’t lay the eyes on a very attractive market as bond. The stock and bond market should be in balance to well develop the market.
